Sikhs Furious Over Play that Tarnishes Sikhi   E-mail

A UK-based playwright has caused a storm over a play that tanishes the Sikh faith.

Although democracy is integral to the Sikh faith and we respect freedom of expression, we feel the writer has crossed the line in the play, "Bezti" by depicting sexual abuse and murder in a Sikh temple, thereby offending the community.
